Who Is Bill Redpath?

Bill Redpath is a candidate for the Libertarian Party of Ohio’s nomination in the election for United States Senator in Ohio in 2026.

A resident of Perrysburg, he will be on the Libertarian Party Primary Election ballot on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Born and raised in Findlay and an alumnus of Findlay High School, he earned a BA degree in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University and an MBA degree from The University of Chicago.

After working for five years at various accounting and financial positions at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Cincinnati, WISH-TV in Indianapolis, and ABC and NBC in New York, he had a 38 year career in Business Valuation, specializing in Media & Telecommunications, at BIA Advisory Services in Washington and Summit Ridge Group in Chicago.

He holds an active Certified Public Accountant license in Ohio and Illinois. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (Retired) with the CFA Institute and an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (Retired) with the American Society of Appraisers.

A nine time Libertarian candidate for public office, Bill has been a member of the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) for a total 24 years, including as Chair of the LNC from 2006 to 2010.

He is one of 22 members of the Libertarian Party Hall of Liberty, having been inducted with former US Congressman Ron Paul in 2016.
